Sometimes Black text can be printed using a composite of Y(Yellow) M(Magenta) and C (Cyan) when printing black text or images, depending on the threshold of this image it may be desirable to print certain areas or all black in Resin Black which utilises the K(black) panel of a YMCK or a YMCKK ribbon, to achieve this settings it may be required depending on the application to make these changes in both Printer Preferences as well as Printer Properties, Advanced, Printing Defaults to achieve the desired effect.

Graphics should also be sent in RGB 0,0,0 to be represented as true black typically.

In Printing Preferences,

Select K Resin Printing, then select More Settings.

Click on Advanced, then click on K Resin Printing, More Settings.

Use K to print Black in Images should be selected and if required YMC under the text can be removed (this setting should be tested against your card design and switched on/off accordingly)

Threshold gives you adjustment on when black shall be applied, default is 2 however this can be adjusted to 255 however this would be an extreme value.
